The computer has become another paint brush in my toolbox.
I am very particular about the use of color and typography to communicate information. For several years, I have been working with a variety of graphics software and have mastered FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Keynote, and QuarkXpress with experience using both the Macintosh and Windows operating systems. Many of my projects have included translating CADD files into the various programs. More recently, I have also been mastering the power of the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and After Effects incorporating the web and interactive design products into the work flow.
I am a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA). Throughout my career, I have taken several seminars and work-shops that covered design and production with various computer graphics software which have allowed me to be very creative in visual communication. I studied advanced Photoshop with Katrin Eismann (photoshopdiva.com) at the American Film Institute, in 1999, I attended Lynda Weinman’s (lynda.com) Ojai Digital Design Center Web Design Intensive hands-on class and the week-long Flash hands-on class. I just completed a semester long motion graphics class at Santa Monica College and took an After Effects intro workshop at Moviola in Hollywood.
