I am a native English speaker (IELTS 8.0) and have been writing professionally since 2007. Articles with my byline have been published in national broadsheets (Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Star), and to magazines and periodicals on a variety of topics (music, food, literature, current events). In 2009, my essay "The Bread of Angels" won 2nd Place at the 7th Doreen Gamboa Fernandez Food Writing Awards, the most esteemed food writing contest in the country. This was published in FOOD Magazine in 2010, and was part of a book compilation of food essays entitled "Savor the Word". I can write on a range of subjects and media. I am my chief editor and proofreader - friends & family have come to me to review their work, so you can too! I also dabble in US English voice over/narration. What has recently reinvigorated my love of writing is traveling. I want to enter the travel industry with my enthusiasm in going places. My research skills can also be integral in travel planning!
