I work full-time as a freelancer, proofreading and editing a range of texts (from novels, essays and blogs to advertising copy and training manuals) and copywriting promotional materials. I am experienced and qualified and have particular experience working with non-native English speakers. My proofreading qualification is from The Publishing Training Centre - the preferred training institution of The Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
I have worked in a variety of roles in education, hospitality and theatre, and am the previous Literary Manager of the award-winning Finborough Theatre, London, where I worked closely with writers to improve their texts.
My education includes a BA with an Honours year in French, a Master's in Francophone Literature, a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. My knowledge base is broad and my skills diverse. I would love to hear from you to see how I can enhance your texts.
