Filipino Translator/Proofreader/ Transcriptionist/ English Tutor

I am a native Filipino speaker, both in Iloko (Ilocano) and Tagalog. As a translator, I make sure that the translation is natural, clear, faithful to the original text, and grammatically correct. As I do, I consider not just words but groups of words. I weigh their real meaning and intent, constantly reminding myself of the target audience for each article. My goal is for the reader to feel as if the material were originally written in his mother tongue. It should not read as a translation. To that end, I try to use language that is natural. I'm a volunteer translator at TWB Kató. And I'd been translated more than 1598 words and I'm an online English teacher for more than two years. I also worked at Sigma Technologies Global and transcribed more than 2,000 minutes of audio.
