My service is affordable because I understand that the people and organizations that are using Guru providers are not Fortune 500 companies. Most are small businesses and entrepreneurs. I also have a knack for research. If the information you're looking for is in the World Wide Web, I will find them. For research work, or any on-going projects (yes, I do accept ongoing projects - short and long terms), I prefer to get paid by hourly based.
The way it works is that I log my working time by the minute and I will bill you for the exact time worked. And I do not round up the working time. Again, the hourly pay is negotiable depending on the extend of work required and your budget. I am also open for flat rate weekly or monthly fee (this worked very well on a couple of long-term assignments in the past)
So, how will you know if I'm actually working on your project or not? Well, by giving you a regular updates, of course. If it is a day or a 2-day project, I would have given you an ETA of completion time. If for any reasons more time is needed (earthquakes, city-wide outage, tornadoes...), I will let you know ASAP prior to ETA time.
For longer period projects, an update will be provided to you twice a week (every 3 days). So I will always keep you up to date with the work progress.
