I am a retired project manager/typesetter and I would like to do some freelance work to pursue my passion of traveling. I have a master's in mathematics and over 42 years of experience in publishing. My background in math allowed me to easily learn how to program in TeX/LaTeX. I can design all kinds of book/journal templates, write instructions for authors on how to use those templates, and typeset any kind of publication in TeX/LaTeX. My last full-time job was with the University Press of Kansas where for 16 years I was a production editor. That job and all the others I held before enabled me to perform many other tasks such as copy editing, proofreading, art editing, preflighting ready-for-press files, and do project management in general. Work Terms
20-30 hours per week; longer if need be. Payment in US dollars is preferred. As for frequency I can accommodate any type but i prefer by being paid by project.
