Writer & Creative Director

I come from a background in entertainment and business and I have a lot of experience in client communication, customer services, and sales. I trained as a director/producer at KADA/ASAD and UCLA Extension, but I have also worked both as an executive PA to the CEO of an equity company and as a sales manager for an online art gallery. For the last ten years, I've worked as a freelance creative, focusing on writing, but with a heavy dose of digital marketing and branding. My passion is helping people communicate their unique story/brand, as well as playing around with innovative marketing and branding ideas. I'd say my heart is in entertainment, but my head is in business--I'm particularly fond of disruptive business models and startups with a social angle. Communication is what I do best--from communicating brands to communicating stories, which are, often, one and the same. I have many long term clients and enjoy building client relationships that last and evolve over the years. I will be happy to help you when it comes to any kind of brand communication--copywriting, blogging (incl. Wordpress--I can even install certain themes but I'm by no means a professional in that niche), writing scripts for commercials and ads, creating presentations, and doing social media management and creating content marketing plans. I am also happy to write magazine articles, novels and screenplays. On Upwork I sometimes collaborate with other freelancers who have a proven track record in marketing and social media, as well as graphic design. This allows us all to do what we do best--I do content and conceptualization for branding and marketing, they do graphics and implementation.
