I enjoy coding mostly in Python, though I do a fair bit of C++ as well. I also know lua and R, and of course know SQL. I have extensive experience in the big data realm, as much of my work has centered around wrangling the data deluge of next generation technologies with biotechnology (data in the range of terabytes). Much of this work requires extensive statistical analysis to remove artifacts, pre-processing to remove and address these artifacts (noise is everywhere, you have to deal with it), and integrating these diverse datasets to a single, coherent picture.
