I am a writer/editor/marketer who has worked for local and online businesses in England, Ireland, Asia and America. I am a native English speaker, born in the UK and attended college in Dublin, Ireland. As a child, I loved to read and write summaries of books as well as my own stories. I enjoyed both fiction and non-fiction, though now I lean towards non-fiction. At a young age, I had poems published in local and school magazines, joined book clubs, and participated in an after-school literature writing club. All of this was before I began high school. I attended a rigorous international high school, where l achieved an IB diploma, providing college-level courses during high school. I took HL(high level) physics, chemistry, maths and literature, as SL(standard level) biology. During this programme, I also took 3 AP(advanced placement) - from the American international school system - exams which I studied for outside of my IB diploma. These included Biology, Chemistry and World Studies. In college, I took a business arts Major, with one year of science and arts, and then 2 years of business, marketing and arts. All of this allowed me to become a proficient writer in various styles and formats, and gain a ton of valuable knowledge. At the end of college and onwards, I began with marketing and advertising. I knocked door to door, messaged leads across email and social media, and called local businesses to offer free social media advertising, management and consultation. I worked with cafes, barber shops, novelists, product stores, artists from my college, freelance workers, etc. Eventually, I partnered up with a friend to create Hyperwave Design Agency, a digital design-focused content marketing agency. We designed websites, logos, graphics, videos, branding and advertising strategies, written ad content, long-form SEO content and more. We worked with brands in a wide variety of niches, from law and finance to technology and entertainment to lawn care and gardening. Three years ago, for various reasons, my career became all about writing. I most recently have worked with Cardwell Beach Agency - a first-rate agency providing digital content for high-ticket clients. My work with them ranged from medication-assisted addiction treatment information to remote patient monitoring technology to elderly care options. This spurred a strong passion to continue working in the mental health, physical health and healthcare fields. At the least, I want my work to feel meaningful and helpful to readers in some way.
