Source Code Cleanup for a WordPress Plugin

The source code quality first was good and also constructive suggestions were made on how to improve the source code quality further. Once we agreed on a second project, deadlines were ignored and the Freelancer told us he had to leave for 10 days and will be unable to work. We even waited more days but then we finally canceled the project. We now have lost 2 months with this and have to start all over due to a lack of dedication, commitment and communication.
