In addition to being a professional software engineer, I have extensively studied the discipline of computer science.. especially the theory of computation, networking and system infrastructure. My knowledge of many programming languages and techniques is broad and capable. My forte is in high efficiency lower level programming.. data processing & mining, distributed processing, automated algorithmic-financial systems, analytics & statistics, artificial intelligence/machine learning, networking, server admin (Linux), large s cale (distributed) application systems, database design, network protocols, audio/video & image processing, lexers, parsers, compilers, business intelligence and automation, sensor networks. Web programming is also a passion of mine both front-end and back-end which includes all the various aspects that would be considered of a quite capable web engineer. I advocate for, and frequent the open source software community of which I contribute to a large extent. My experience not only lies in the art & science of computing, but I have been self-employed for nearly all of my working life and in that, a Florida state certified general contractor for the past 12 years.
