In any job setting, I am very keen on how elements interact with one another, and how they're supposed to convey a clear meaning. In technical and academic reports, every part needs to be part of a whole, and none simply mentioned for the sake of existing in the report. In terms of music composition, a song or jingle can't just be good or catchy, but its very conception must be manifest in its melody, choice of genre and instruments, aural appearance, and most especially in its lyrics. I do not like lingering in the small details -- things that would not impart any real difference in the desired effect but would otherwise take up time (i.e., "analysis paralysis). I take so much pride in beautifully crafted work!
