Born in Vienna, Austria I was always math and technical driven. During high-school I discovered my passion for algorithms. I decided to study physics and by using my affinity to programming I specialized in numerical and computational physics. My Master thesis as well as my PhD thesis were written in English.
After I finished my PhD I started to work in finance performing statistical analysis and developing automated trading algorithms.
Since I was always more of an independent work type, I decided, along with 2 former colleagues, to start a business in IT-operations and consulting. However, I like diversity, new challenges and to learn new things regularly.
