I have 15+ years of experience working with Python, databases, and various AWS technologies on big data and analytics projects and typically automation of these things. My expertise is in architecting and implementing cloud based solutions for big data problems for my clients . If you have a lot of data, and need to figure out how to store it, move it, automate it, or analyze it, and want to do it in AWS, then I'm your man.
I cut my teeth in AWS and Python spending 7 years building the backend and analytics platform for an algorithmic trading fund, where the priorities revolve around latency, scale and real-time number crunching.
Within Python I'm usually building or fixing systems, automating some type of workflow, or doing analytics using Boto3, Pandas, PySpark, SQL Alchemy, Airflow or the AWS APIs.
Within AWS I'm most familiar with CDK/CFN, Aurora, Redshift, Lambda, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, EMR/PySpark, Dynamo, ECS/Fargate/EC2 (Docker), S3.
