I have been an entrepreneur since 2008 and a videographer since 2012. My interest in photography started in the early 2000s. My areas of greatest expertise include product videography for Amazon, Etsy and YouTube. I've helped with hundreds of videos for YouTube for my own enterprise, and I've helped dozens of Amazon Sellers with videos for their product listings.
The majority of my filming projects falls into the home decor category. I do lots of lifestyle videography, indoor and outdoor. I live in Northern Michigan so filming outdoor hiking and camping videos in the summer and fall are a popular offering of mine. We also have lots of snow here January and February, so I also film product videos like inflatable snow tubes, sleds, and gloves.
My models consist of myself, my kids (age 9 to 13), and my husband. For indoor projects, my home is my primary filming location. I do have an additional location available to me as well, with muted gray walls and a modern vibe. My outdoor filming locations tend to be my yard, forest, Lake Huron beach, and others.
Everything I’ve learned is from self-study and personal experience. I am a part time freelancer, part time homeschooling mom, and assistant manager for the business my husband and I run.
