MaryAnn Loo is a self-taught artist/illustrator based in Singapore. She wanted to be an artist since age 8, but was discouraged by her parents. Almost 20 years later, she rediscovered her true passion for art, and dove straight into it with her self-curated first solo art show held in 2013. Shortly after that she was commissioned to illustrate a series of 3 children's books by a local author.

MaryAnn paints in acrylics and creates artworks of penguins living in the clouds and flying across the sky. This is to symbolize possibilities, that dreams can come true, and to celebrate the themes of love, happiness and freedom. Besides the penguin series, she is also creating a series of New York's cityscapes and exploring another series about connection and communication. MaryAnn also draws portraits in her unique illustrative style that has been gaining in popularity in Singapore.

As an artist, MaryAnn stands for self-expression, mastery in her craft, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams. She is also training as a life coach and intends to specialize in creative and relationship coaching.

Work Terms

My working schedule is flexible, and I can shift things around to ensure I complete your project by the date we agree upon. Depending on how complex your project is, it will normally take about 3-14 days to complete your work, and another 2-10 days for shipping depending on your location and delivery preferences.

Before I begin on your project, I require a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of our agreed total sum. This is to cover the costs of materials and my services in the event that the project is canceled halfway before the deadline. Should I cancel on the project, I will refund you the deposit minus any transactional fees.
