This client was keen to prove their concept was viable before investing heavily into a fully-featured app. This question-answering bot was designed to automatically detect and respond to user queries based on textual documents.

To accomplish this challenge in a cost-effective way, the minimum-viable-product did not have an interface at all. Instead, interaction happened exclusively via email.

Minimum Viable Concept for Machine-Learning Text-reading Bot

This event management and ticketing platform was built for a client with particular requirements for user access and payment methods. Off-the-shelf solutions were unacceptable for this reason. Access was to be restricted to students of a particular university, and a custom authentication solution was provided as such.

I built a sophisticated analytics dashboard to test, personalise and optimise automated chatbot conversations. The app was built on top of a machine learning background, and used Node, React and Relay for the front-end interface. The application was designed to run on Google Cloud Platform, where scalability to millions of latency-sensitive queries was a concern.

JSTyper is a type-checker which analyses JavaScript source code to identify and dynamically protect against certain types of bug. I was the lead researcher, producing a mathematical definition for the programming language, a proof of soundness, and a practical implementation written in JavaScript that can be run in any modern browser.
