While I do all kinds of SQL work, I find Alteryx is exceptional at combining, manipulating and transforming data. Particularly when the data is stored in many different locations.

Alteryx is also more visually interesting to look at then a screenshot of some SQL code I wrote.

Klipfolio: a work in progress dashboard on search enging rankings. This is from custom built Klips.
Klipfolio excels at connecting to web based data, and displaying it in dashboards.

Klipfolio: SEO Rankings

Airbnb data collected by Airdna used to create a report to on Airbnb's impact on Hotels. Airbnb data was stored in PostgreSQL database, hotel locations were added in a custom SQL query, and PostGIS allowed the selection of airbnb locations within 1km of a hotel.

Data is visualized using Tableau.
