Far from your average, run-of-the-mill web developer, I hold a BS in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University and have 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry working for Texas Instruments. Toward the end of my career at TI, I developed perl-cgi applications, and left to work as a freelancer, most recently working as a full-stack LAMP / LEMP developer. My freelance career has mostly been developing web assets on top of Wordpress and SugarCRM/SuiteCRM. Approximately two years ago, I discovered Laravel, and I simply fell in love with it. Additionally, in the last six months, I have adopted TDD as not just a development methodology, but as a way of life!
