Freelance translator/interpreter Born and raised in the Czech Republic. Interested in languages and dialects, technical and scientific writing. Studied Chemistry in Prague and then in the UK where I finished a PhD in 2014. Significant work experience (8 years) in Chemistry academia and industrial settings. Fluent in Czech (native), Slovakian and English. Although I am new to freelancing, I have vast experience of writing and translation within the scientific field. During my career I have written reports and theses in both Czech and English languages and co-authored a patent and several academic papers. I have experience with MemSource and Trados Studio software and my rate is £0.065/word. I am looking for both one-off projects and ongoing collaborative work.
