Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

I have 30 years experience designing instrumentation and control systems. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. Engineered data acquisition and control systems, test measurement equipment, telecommunications, telemetry, and flight test systems. Custom design and modifications of software and hardware. Arduino, Raspberry Pi and PIC microcontrollers. Lab View, C++, DasyLab, Excel VBA and Visual Basic PCB layout with PCB Artist, Eagle, Kicad and UltiBoard. Experienced AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketchup and MicroStation user. Schematic and PCB design of electronic instrumentation. Perform spice simulation with Pspice, LTspice and Multisim. Strain Gages, Thermocouples, RTDs and Accelerometers. Good working knowledge of machining, adhesives, materials, MIL/AN specs. Environmental testing, geometric dimensioning and tolerance per ANSI Y14.5. Experience in hardware troubleshooting, sensor design and system design. Excellent manager of multiple projects, objectives and deadlines.
