I have been working in Investment Banking as a Derivatives Analyst after completing a Masters in Newspaper Journalism gaining significant writing, editing and research skills. I have also been a technical writer for closed-end blockchain fund Solar DAO investing in solar energy and written white papers for cryptocurrency startups using Ethereum and smart contracts. In my most recent role as an OTC Derivatives Analyst I provided daily trade lifecycle support, investigated cash and stock queries for triparty settlements and reconciled trades while working with counterparties and prime brokers. I reconciled, reviewed and input FX bilateral, LCH and Euroclear trades while calculating valuations and pricing for credit default swaps, options indexes, total return swaps and inflation and interest rate swaps when providing intra-day trade management and NAV reconciliation for prime brokers. I manipulated data effectively using Excel and SQL and developed macros to provide timely models.
