An avid and experienced reader since time out of mind, Shari is a devoted consumer of tales. Armed with an appetite for a good story well told she brings a lifelong love of the written word and the worlds it can reveal. Shari is a reader's reader, she offers a viewpoint that reveals a passion for a good story that sometimes comes before the fussiness of a technically focused editor. She is an advocate for the reader not the grammarian.

Upon returning to school to pursue a certificate in Deaf Studies and American Sign Language, Shari discovered a previously unrecognized clarity and grounded thoughtfulness in her story telling. And it was here that she would hone her abilities as a proofreader and editor and find a genuine passion for sharing her unique point-of-view and reader-focused writing style with younger classmates in need of editorial assistance.

A seasoned amateur but new to the world of professional writing and editing, Shari recently left the safe routine of the 9-5 corporate grind to pursue a lifelong aspiration of a job with no traffic, no commute, flex scheduling and an awesome boss. Working from her Dr. Who (BBC) inspired office outside of Columbus, Ohio with office dogs at her feet for moral support, Shari now assists others with all sorts of written words in her simple quest to make a living at the pointy end of a pencil.
