As a graduate of many different subjects, business management, marketing, tourism, hospitality, entrepreneurship, I believe throughout my academic career I have acquired the necessary knowledge to combine them all theoretically and now ready to show the world how to implement it in real business life. Born and raised in Istanbul/Turkey, I am familiar with the modern-eastern culture. Born in a family with different academic backgrounds and with secondary foreign languages (parents graduated from Austrian and French schools, with an older sister doing a Ph.D. in the United States), multi-cultural communication and internationalism has always been the hotspot for me. Personally, moving abroad to Austria for two years gave me the European perspective as much as the indurance to face the challenges in a foreign environment, with a classroom from so many different nationalities.
I am interested in the subjects of consumer behavior, marketing strategies, non-traditional travel methods and market analysis in an attempt to grasp the consumer’s mindset holistically. Realizing tourism and marketing is much more than providing just a product or service, further in my career I wish to be responsible for the understanding of the market and delivering as an experience to fulfill the needs and desires of the consumers. This is why I am interested in product development, marketing and research departments for businesses and travel companies and associations. Through my experiences, both in the social and academic environments, I’ve proven myself to be as easily adaptable to changing situations and as exemplary in multinational atmospheres, especially in the European market.
