In my years of experience working in technological projects for cultural institutions and publishing companies, I have encountered many times users (editors, translators, etc) expressing their need of a tool that would allow them to merge and combine different Word documents into a single document, avoiding them to have to open the documents one by one and use the well-known “copy & paste” procedure. To solve this problem I created UnirDocs, a tool that can order and merge all documents on a click of mouse. Unirdocs also respects the “track changes” in each document.
