I want a demo Swift app that will stream video (and depth channel) data from an iPhone with TrueDepth camera to an iPad that is on the same local network.
The idea is that you can use the front-facing camera on your iPhone so that the iPhone is like a 'wand' you can wave around, and the iPad is on a desk so other people can see what you are looking at.
Instead of using a local network stream, you could send it some other clever way if you know about that. But 'connecting' the two devices should be super simple.
Links like this should be helpful: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/avfoundation/cameras_and_media_capture/streaming_depth_data_from_the_truedepth_camera
The video resolution of the stream will ultimately need to be quite high. The resolution could be something that is selected on the screen of the broadcasting iPhone.
For the app, it would be good to have one app rather than two.
It would be great if the display on the second device can visually overlay the depth data onto the video stream, perhaps optionally ticking a button.
