Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are an exciting and ambitious social gaming disruptor that was founded in 2021. We are on a quest to revolutionise the interaction between gaming and live sport.
Our portfolio of products will include a sports news website which will update on a daily basis with headlines, news stories, images. We have a team of writers and journalists, and we require a CMS that allows our Editor to post and edit stories and essentially manage the site.
--
I need a developer/designer to build a simple website, to accommodate basic news stories.
The site should also include a CMS integration - this can be Wordpress or similar - to allow an administrator to post/edit/manage content.
We also require the ability to update the homepage on a regular basis to meet the demand of breaking news etc. Ideally this would be in a carousel format.
We have existing designs which we can share, which we would need you to implement. We can share high resolution design screens once the project starts, but you can see a mock up attached to this project.
In addition to the ability to post headlines, articles and manage the content, ideally we'd like to use the CMS to post Polls, Photos and Video content (not necessarily on day 1).
To help you understand what we require, here are some similar websites to what we have in mind:
www.sportinglife.com
https://thegameday.com/
www.bbc.co.uk/sport
www.racingpost.com
The budget is up to £750 to complete this project and we'd like this complete within 5 working days.
We would like a 30 minute call to kick off the project with the chosen developer.
We will be able to support on calls and or emails to answer questions and give guidance.
