Hello!
I'm upgrading the security of my home & business and I want to add an ANPR camera to my main gates using a Raspberry Pi. Currently, I have a Pi Camera Module v2, but I can upgrade that if needed.
The project is this:
I want an ANPR camera with an accompanying web application that can accuratly detect the registration plates of vehicles coming onto my land. The system should allow me to give it a list of 'approved' vehicles which displays as 'approved' on the web app, but doesn't send any alerts. Any vehicles not on the approved list should also display on the dashboard as an 'unauthorised' vehicle but now send an alert to the admin along with an image of the vehicle and the registration plate.
In addition to that, the option for customers (which are the 'approved' vehicle owners) should be able to add and update their details and approved registration plate, as well as being able to add 'visiting' vehicles which are temporarily approved (for 12 hours).
The camera will run 24/7, so low-light and night time viewing is a must (I'll need hardware recommendations for this)
This will be an ongoing project as I have plenty more features in mind, but for now, I want to stick with the basics.
Again, camera hardware can be changed, but I'd like to stick with a raspberry pi so I can cheaply install these cameras accross my land.
Price is negotiable for the right candidate. Please quote the price you're happy to do the project with, the price shown is just PPHs suggested price.
Ideally, the web app will be in ReactJS, so I can easily use it as a reference for a React Native mobile app in future, but it isn't a must.
Thanks!
