Experience Level: Entry
Hello
I've designed a breach sensor for remote locations on fencing.
I've written a basic program on an Arduino UNO just to see that the sensor works to design; (it does), and have subsequently purchased a Maduino ATmega 328 with an RFM96 LoRa module built in.
I know this is a P to P module, but I understand it can be made LoRaWAN with a Lmik sketch available in the arduino library manager and github.
1: So first, I need this to be made LoRaWAN compatible.
2: I need the MCU program expanded to include the following...
An "I'm still working" frame should be sent to the system say every six hours with an alert in the event of a malfunction.
A "Disturbance" alert sent to the system in the event of activity that lasts less than three seconds (industry standard).
A "Breach" alert sent to the system and relayed to the client in the event activity that lasts more than 3 seconds.
If a "Disturbance" alert occurs often enough, (say 5 times or more in a 10 minute window), then an alert also sent to the client.
Each sector is individually named and shown graphically on the GUI for quick identification of the breach area.
A report of activity sent to the client monthly. Important to identify areas of high traffic.
I will need to easily be able to configure the MCU's with the final sketch myself and will need clear instructions how to get the data to TTN.
Please advise if…
1: You are familiar with the Lmik sketch
2: You’ve done a project similar in the past.
3: You’ve satisfied yourself that you can do the project.
I’d like to do this in sections.
1st: Converting the board to LoRaWAN.
Moving a gateway from Chirpstack to TTN.
Remote access via Teamviewer or Anydesk
Please advise a once off cost to make this board LoRaWAN and shift the gateway.
2nd: Completing the Arduino programming to include the various alert statuses and reporting described above.
Please advise a once off cost to program Arduino.
3rd: Setting up a server to process the data and send the alerts to the relevant people. Also to keep records, send reports, check battery levels etc.
No Quote required at this stage.
4th: In the event that the final project is successful, then I’d like to design my own MCU with built in LoRaWAN module.
No Quote required at this stage.
Suggestions Welcome.
Thank You
