I am working in a public school as a Senior Bookkeeper, wherein I handle all the accounts of the school. In this institution, I prepare monthly reports, quarterly reports and even annual reports which are being submitted to different agencies. I manage three different systems which are: • Budget Monitoring System (BMS) – used to monitor the budget of the whole school per fiscal year. • Electronic Financial Reporting System (eFRS) – used to prepare financial reports. • Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) – used to remit taxes withheld from employees and suppliers Aside from making financial reports, I also prepare business letters, such as when we are communicating with other agencies to request for additional budget or for the cancellation of remittances, and many more depending on the cases.
