I graduated from Cedarville University summa cum laude, and then spent one year in graduate school at Trinity Lutheran Seminary. I was the assistant manager of the shoe salon in an upscale specialty store in Northeastern Ohio. During my university years, I became a teaching assistant in the philosophy department. I served as a choir director, youth leader, and worship planner for two churches in rural North Carolina. I now work as a staff writer for a guitar academy in Los Angeles and as a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader.
