My entire career has been with nonprofits. I have 12 years experience as a Social Worker, 10 years as a fundraiser and a life of local and global volunteerism. This has all provided me the opportunity to strengthen various skills in: advocacy, volunteer management, data entry, blog writing (I've been published in the Guardian and Care), photography, public speaking, teaching (I have taught english and parenting classes), coaching, translation, nonprofit management, social media, outreach, legal documentation I have an extensive international travel background and am a great problem solver. Additionally, I have been a moderator and have interviewed many individuals for a documentary as well as through investigative social work. I embrace my creative side through my hobbies which are creative writing, photography and salsa dancing. I also love movies and good music! I am currently living in Mexico City and was born and raised in California which I visit often for work and pleasure.
