Experienced, Hardworking, Recruiter & Writer with a Positive Attitude and Top Work Ethic

While earning my B.A. and M.A. in Educational Administration, I enjoyed a career in education and was considered a model classroom for a private school. However, after teaching for 7 years, I chose to transition into work with more flexible hours and that I could take on as a project basis. I began as a project manager for a start up and successfully hired a staff of 12, created an employee handbook, chose uniforms, created a website, blog, Facebook page, and mission statement and put processes together to basically create a company from scratch. I also sought additional products for us to sell, made sales calls, held monthly improvement meetings, and as the company's first employee, brainstormed ways to grow. I stayed there 5 years as the company grew to over $5 million in annual sales and continues to grow.

I still return for monthly staff meetings, hire when necessary, and maintain their social media, but after 5 years I had hired enough people to do my work on a daily basis and found that I had more time in my schedule and began to look for another project. I was hired by a non-profit foundation to recruit prestigious doctors to give lectures. In record time, I successfully hired 55 doctors and needed to find another project!

I was hired by a fabulous recruiting company for a part time Assistant Recruiter job. This job is 20 hours a week and I plan to stay here long term. I create position specifications, interview, create reports, edit, maintain databases, create PowerPoint presentations and more. I am NEVER late, and have a very strong work ethic. I take my work very seriously and communicate clearly and honestly. I have been told numerous times that I am a pleasure to work with.

I also publish articles for a local magazine several times a year and volunteer at my children's school often, recently writing a science curriculum pro bono.

I am seeking a minimum of 3 hours and maximum of 20 hours a week in addition to what I already do.

Work Terms

I am available to work from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM (PST) and 8:00 PM-11:00 PM (PST). I cannot work Saturdays, but can work Saturday nights and Sunday nights.
My going rate is $50 an hour, but I would work for a bit less in the right situation.
