I am a New Zealander Chinese living in Melbourne, Australia. I was a senior marketing director in New Zealand. I also taught creative writing and communication at university. I have more than 30 years experience in developing creative content, marketing collateral (print, online and social media) and academic papers.
My writing style is versatile. I can write formal and serious pieces (academic papers, business reports or government tenders). I can also produce original creative pieces that can grab attention. As a writer, I believe in good research to ensure accuracy, attention to detail to produce high-quality grammatically correct and error free writing and observation of the client's brief (i.e. writing to meet your objectives not to create my own thing). Writing to me is like storytelling - it's about telling your stories to the target audience. I want the story to draw them in so that they too may want to become a part of it.
