Working professionally in website development and internet related industries since 2000. My first website went online in 1996 as part of an IT project and is still live today. My first commercial experience of JavaScript was in 2000 working as an ecommerce software engineer for a digital publishing company. All of my recent projects have been in agile environments on collaborative projects with modern javascript frameworks React, Angular and Backbone including login functionality, database design and security. Some areas of interest currently are ES6, web components, modern design aesthetics such as material design and flat shaded palettes with various animations and transitions, desktop and mobile app development for Android and iPhone using cordova, ionic, and electron, web services such as representational state transfer and websocket streams, and data visualisation with custom charting components and image export. github: johnbyrnerepo linkedin: in/html5css3
