Distributed system where remote devices with GPS capabilities (mainly -but not only- Android cell phones) send georeferenced events like alarms, tracking, checkpoints, and such to a server via Wifi and/or the internet (GPRS). Parameters control frequency and functions at the apps running on the remote devices.
Data received at the server get registered in a database and can be viewed over a map (Google Maps and others) and specific reports can be generated.

Java por Android apps, Javascript and PHP for web frontend, and C++ for data- packet reception and processing was used in this development.
