I am a qualified IT Engineer and a native Italian speaker/fluent in English now residing in England. In my past experience I have worked, mainly in sales, using my communication skills in both languages. My experience, with regard to Information Technology, is problem solving, data recovery, building custom configurations and most importantly keeping myself informed of the latest developments in technology. Whilst I do not have an academic qualification in translation, I do have a qualification for the Trinity Exam (Level 10) and my interest in IT has obviously enabled me to learn the appropriate technical language, from reading documents in both Italian and English. I have also undertaken some translation jobs for a friends of mine that owns a record label and needed some descriptions to be translated for online music stores.
