PROJECTS Campus ID of Residence Automation • Tool created for the data team in IDEA Public Schools to find alternative schools students may attend based on their address, then finds the Campus ID of Residence Code for data submissions to Texas • Replaced the previous tool that had licensing fees used by the IDEA data team, saving $8,000 each time they would need it. Student Distance Calculator • Built a python script to read over 42,000 of student’s address data and calculate the driving distance to their campus. Ensured students were not more than 50 miles away from their campus, as required by Texas • This Automated the work of 120 registrars across the IDEA School District. With the time it would have taken to finish manually processing the data in google maps, the script saved over $15,000 in work hours
