I am a mechanical engineering technologist who loves machine design. I have a mechanical engineering technology diploma, as well as an advanced diploma in mechanical engineering, and I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree at the University of British Columbia. I am experienced in 3D design in Autodesk Inventor, Siemens Solid Edge, Siemens NX, and Solidworks, including component design, assemblies, and detail drawing packages. Beyond my engineering education and experience, I am a millwright and have a long history of mechanical experience. I spent two years as an automotive mechanic, and eight years in ski lift construction. This hands on experience complements my education by giving me an intuitive sense of how machines work and how to design in a practical and efficient way.
