Competent C and assembly language software design on many architectures including x86, ARM, MIPS, AVR, PIC, 68k and HC08/12/16. Experienced with Hardware acceleration/multiprocessing and multithreaded software design and debugging. Analog, digital, high speed communications and RF electronic design and layout using Altium and Eagle EDA tools. HDL using VHDL primarily on Altera but have completed projects using Xilinx and Lattice. Low level understanding of many communications networks including PCIe, MIPI, wifi, BT/BLE and industrial control networks such as Modbus, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP and CAN.
