I provide Database Administration / Development and Commercial Analysis Services / Reporting Support on a freelance basis. I have experience in MS SQL Server 2008 / 2008 R2 / 2016 / 2019 for data storage ad reporting. For database development I am skilled in the use of Visual Studio with GIT and SSDT to check in and test and deploy code changes. For front end work I have good expierence with a range of SMEs using MS Access where I specialise in maintaining / developing MS Access systems backed by MS SQL and "upscaling" existing MS Access systems to hold their data in MS SQL so as to be more robust and scalable. Before going freelance in 2016 I had 8 years Commercial Analysis and DBA experience with an Educational Publisher.

I checked in a complex set of databases and simplified the inter-dependencies between them using SSDT in Visual Studio + Redgate's SQL Toolbelt adding tSQLt tests and developing robust rollout processes. I provided additional IT support for reporting processes and forecasting.
