I am a software developer with a wide range of experience in developing web applications using django and python. As a python developer, I adhere to the best practices when working on projects, i.e. the PEP 8 recommendations, Don't Repeat Yourself (DRY) philosophy and creation of unit tests before going to production. Over the course of my career as a django developer, I have had the privilege of working with the very best of libraries and modules in the industry, including memcache for caching, haystack for full-text search, virtualenv for managing and maintaining multiple django projects, south for schema migrations and django-cellery for handling asynchronous tasks. I also have experience working with most DBMSs, including Microsoft SQL, MySQL and postgres. For front-end development, I use jquery and jquery plugins and bootstrap for quick prototyping.
