I perform experiments of a functional genomics nature in human cell lines. I also developed a CRISPR guide-RNA sequence pipeline that extracts gene information from genome databases and designs highly specific and highly active gRNA for CRISPR-based genetic screens using Python. Currently working on screening cancer cells with CRISPR libraries with various drug combinations to identify gene pathways susceptible to treatment.

Served on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, where I operated and maintained the nuclear reactors. Compiled and submitted quarterly data reports of reactor physics data. Skilled at troubleshooting electronic and mechanical faults in equipment. As maintenance group supervisor, I trained and developed schedules for sailors under my command. Also developed training courses via powerpoint to train sailors in equipment operation.
