Behavioral science writing

I am an experienced writer in Guru,Upwork, and Upwork's predecessor, Elance. I have written five books, contributed two book chapters, and written over 275 articles on topics in psychology, crime, substance abuse, politics, and guns. I have corrected and edited more student papers than I can count, and written countless clinical reports. I am familiar with APA ( American Psychological Association) writing format, I am available to write, edit, proofread, or provide technical and content advice on academic and research papers in psychology, criminology, or substance abuse, or crime fiction. I have also written on health and fitness topics.

I am a also an avid foodie, amateur chef, and am a contributor to Allrecipes and Epicurious. I would welcome the opportunity to work on recipe books, cook books, or food and beverage blogs.

I am a Licensed Alcohol/Drug Counselor with 19 years of clinical experience . I am currently in private practice, providing psychotherapy and consulting services. I have bachelors and masters degrees in Psychology. I primarily see patients referred for mandated evaluations and treatment from the state Department of Corrections. My specialties are treatment of chemical dependency with an emphasis on opiate dependence, and related clinical issues such as anger management, PTSD ( Post-traumatic Stress Disorder) adjusting to the community after incarceration, and domestic violence and sex crimes. I have also taught undergraduate college courses in psychology and criminal justice for 22 years.
