Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity and security of over 20 Windows production (enterprise) servers initially from NT4 to 2012 R2 systems including over 500 workstations; upgrading, verification, testing and implementation of disaster recovery (backup and restore) best practices; security and compliance (SOX, HIPAA, PCI), network administrative and hardware support (including design, purchasing, troubleshooting and maintenance of SQL Server, VMWare, Active Directory, DNS, WINS, RAS, RRAS, IIS, TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, and other services). Administering and installing Exchange Servers 5.5 through 2013 and configuration of (OWA) Outlook Web Access, (IIS) Internet Information Server Web Servers and (ISA) Internet Security Accelerator and Proxy Server firewalls, primarily Dell SonicWALL security appliances. Additionally, I have experience in SQL Server 2000 to current, Oracle database administration and an expert knowledge of database design and implementation. Finally, I regularly install and configure Remote Management and Monitoring Software, Antivirus servers and maintain various SPAM filters for several Illinois businesses as well as perform instructor led IT courses for end users and network support personnel.
My company and I are also certified to repair hardware from vendors such as Lenovo & Dell. And have experience with printers repairs and troubleshooting.
