A prototype of a digital Holter has been developed as an electronic engineering graduate project for the Universidad Católica Argentina. The device can acquire and store ECG signals to then be visualized on a computer with specially designed software. Acquired data is stored into a Secure Digital Card (SDC) removable memory with a standard file system such as FAT32 in order to make the information compatible with computer-based systems for later recovery. Special attention has been paid to the filter design
