Grant is a professional editor, writer, actor and voice-over artist who lives in Soho, London. His literary agent is David Kayser at Casarotto. In terms of fiction, his début novel, The Cuckoo Boy, was published in 2010 to great acclaim, described as ‘an emotionally visceral debut,’ (Guardian); ‘The Cuckoo Boy is a savage indictment of hypocrisy and forced social convention,' (Observer). His short story, The Upper Hand, was recently published by Simon Schuster in He Played For His Wife and Other Stories, also featuring Patrick Marber, Jennifer Tilly and Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy. Grant also writes plays and screenplays, often collaborating with Kate Ashfield (writer of Born to Kill). Their series, The Harvest, is on the slate at Kate Lewis and Julia Walsh’s production company, Neon Ink.
