Experienced Translator and Proofreader

30+ years of experience as a translator and interpreter, with a passion for languages. Graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature (University of Milan, Italy). I lived in Canada for 7 years; this helped me to further develop my language skills (anglophone areas). Italian and German are both mother tongue level, as I grew up in Italy with a German mother. Several years of experience in translating from English to Italian and vice versa, German to Italian and vice versa. These translations include a musician's autobiography, some short stories, scientific articles, catalogues with product descriptions, a gardening book, students' essays. I have worked for many years in an Export Department; this gave me the opportunity to practice my written and oral language skills on a daily basis. I also teach German and English as a Second Language (private tutoring and small groups) I am constantly striving at delivering the contents by or before the deadline.
