I am a logical, hardworking and committed statistician(data analyst) with a passion for data and information. I possess wide experience in data analysis, interpretation and presentations.
I love being a problem solver. I get lots of complicated problems from researchers and business users. They want to forecast something; they want to understand how data can improve their researches and business. I love working with them to figure out – how can we utilise that data to actually provide value to the business and life. I've always loved playing around with data, it amazes me how you could put data into different formats, different visualizations and then making sense out of that data. I think what I enjoy most about being a data scientist is the challenge. It’s almost like being an investigative journalist, investigating a story; you never know what are you going to find when get our hands on this new set of data.
I also love working with people from a variety of different backgrounds. So data can come from chemistry, they can come from biology, they can come from psychology, they can come from economics, or medicine, or finance or computer science and so I love working with people with really diverse backgrounds, bringing together those different ideas and really solving problems for different challenges . It is a very exciting time to be a data scientist because the world's data is said to be doubling every couple of years, so it’s a big challenge out here, which I enjoy.
