I am an innovator, engineer, and pilot. I embody a passion and talent that exceeds letters after my name. I have over a decade of experience in space science, aerospace systems engineering and avionics, control systems and software engineering, management, design, analysis, and technical writing. I have run particle accelerators, designed spacecraft, written training manuals, and designed medical devices, but along the way I have created websites and graphics, taught others how to lead, learned to navigate business development, and learned how to build innovation into large established businesses with entrenched cultures. Work Terms
I generally work six days a week, 10-12 hours a day, and I do my best work from 9am-9pm, though I typically work later hours than this. My rates are variable, but my average hourly rate for most technical work is $125/hr. I do financial and business consulting for $200/hr. I can work on smaller projects with quick turn around. I prefer to charge by the project, so my hourly rate varies depending upon complexity and time, and client needs. I prefer to communicate via email.
